If you’ve been with me since the beginning, then you’ll know that the first race I ever took part in was the Race for Life in Perth in 2006. I also took part in the Kirkcaldy event in 2007, then again in Perth (on a different course) in 2009.
It was in 2009 that I started to take my running a lot more seriously and stepped things up a gear. Since then, I’ve taken part in many races from 5K to Marathon and have steadily improved my times since, although I still have some work to do! I’ve even tried a couple of cycling events now too…
